Stephanie Weber is a consultant developer at Thoughtworks, with professional interests including information security, automation, and artificial intelligence. Stephanie’s background is in education, where she was a teacher and digital learning coach.

Stephanie has degrees in educational leadership and bilingual education, was a presenter at the Silver State Tech Innovator Symposium, and was selected as an Apple Distinguished Educator in 2013.

In her work with the Arts Residency, Stephanie contributed to developing the facial emotion recognition engine, researched open source projects and communities and investigated applications of artificial intelligence. As part of this process she researched and wrote about the consequences of artificial intelligence in the criminal justice system.
